Ink Review: Habanero by Noodler's

Noodler's inks can be a bit of a crapshoot, this one, however, is a winner. Orange inks seem to be popular within the fountain pen community even though they have little place in most work environments. I use this one for document editing and for annotating sketches of machinery that I am designing, for these purposes it works well. While I have many orange inks, this one is my favourite.

Colour Make Up

As can be seen above, this ink is composed of a vibrant yellow as well as a cotton candy pink component. It appears that some part of the pink die is permanent as is seen where the sample was placed on the wicking media.

Conclusions

Of all of my oranges, this is the one that I reach for the most often. I doesn't shade quite as well as Noodler's Apache Sunset but it is close, and the darker hue of orange makes it easier to read. This ink also has better flow than Apache Sunset so I simply enjoy the writing experience more. I highly recommend adding a bottle of this to your stash.
