It has been a big week here in the new inks department with arrivals from both Diamine and Pilot. The first arrivals are the 150th Anniversary inks that were released by Diamine in the late fall of 2014. Diamine was nice enough to send 5ml samples of each ink in the series so we have almost three weeks of reviews to look forward to from this contribution.

Along with the ink, they sent a package of Pilot Varsities that I think would make a great part of this blog's first give-away. On April 1st I will assign numbers to the Twitter Followers of the @Gorgeous_Ink account and use Random.org to select the winner. And what will you win? Well, the above mentioned package of fountain pens as well as 10 ink samples, of your choosing, from the inks listed in the "Bottles On Hand" portion of the inventory. This give-away is open to everyone regardless of where you live. I'll DM you on Twitter and you will have a week to email me back with your ink sample selection as well as your mailing address.
Finally, Pilot was also nice enough to send a Custom Heritage 92 for review. I'm not sure that I'm qualified to review a pen, if it writes well I like it, if it writes really well, I really like it. I do know someone who is qualified to review a pen though, so this one is going to go on vacation to Wisconsin for a while so that Andi at The Fountain Pen Physicist can put it through its paces and let us know what she thinks.
