Dave Rea has opened up a scientific can of WhoopAss on the latest TWSBI offering and has this post entitled The Polarizing Truth: Why Your TWSBI Eco Won’t Break. I have access to some Dr. Drang type equipment at work so maybe I should pick this up where Dave left off. The only problem is that it wouldn't end well for the pens involved. I'll think on it.
JetPens has a great post entitled Dark Green and Dark Teal Fountain Pen Ink Comparison. You will want to bookmark this one for future reference.
SBRE Brown released his own personal ink that has been manufactured for him by Diamine. Get all of the specifics in this video or look at the scanned pages on his website. There are only 300 bottles up for grabs so don't think about it too long.
As it happens, Joe Crace put out a blog post this week entitled The Perception of Scarcity: Is it Worth Chasing “Limited Edition Inks” anymore?
CW Pencils has been hanging out in cemeteries recently and brings us this post about it; Confessions of a Goth Pencil Lady — How to do a Grave Rubbing.
Mary Collis got her hands on one of Montegrappa's DC Comics pens and put up her review. KABOOM! The Montegrappa DC Comics™ Penguin Fountain Pen. OK the clip is fugly and the price for this pen that I found on Amazon is truly insulting for a steel nibbed pen, but those stripes are AWESOME, and I even like the antique look of the section.
Bob at My Pen Needs Ink did a great review entitled Faber-Castell Ondoro Fountain Pen Review. I have yet to buy a Faber-Castell pen but I have yet to hear something bad about the brand.
This is another pen that I find very interesting but is out of my price range. Calligraphy Nut reviews the Sailor Professional Gear Imperial Black.
